Questions
- What is a seat?
- A person who records prompts in your workspace: someone in your GitHub organisation who has run procket setup, or a collaborator who agreed to be recorded. People who only read reports or review pull requests never need one.
- How does billing work?
- Every workspace has 10 free seats. Beyond that, seats are $1 a month each, paid in advance, monthly or annually. Adding seats is prorated; removing someone frees their seat from your next renewal. Prices exclude VAT and other sales taxes, which are added at checkout, where you see the full price before you pay.
- What happens if more people use it than we have seats for?
- Nobody is blocked and nothing stops recording. For 7 days your reports carry a warning. After that, reports are hidden until an owner adds seats, and adding them unlocks everything recorded in the meantime. If a workspace stays over its limit for 3 months, recording stops until seats are added.
- Is the free plan a trial?
- No. It has every feature and no end date. Free workspaces that record nothing for 12 months are deleted, with two email warnings first.
- Can we self-host on the Team plan?
- Self-hosting is only available on an Enterprise licence. Contact us for a quote.
